Problem: A multi-faceted India based healthcare organization faced the problems of pathogen reactivation/resistance to chlorine. We offered the solution of ozone at pre-treatment with precise dosing and contact-time measurement to replace chlorine as the disinfectant of choice. Dosage studies at 1.0-3.0 ppm achieving 100-300 ppb residual ozone were carried out with 2 different contact tank volumes.
Solution: Third party microbiological tests confirmed precise dosage, contact time and residual needed to combat the specific strain of pseudomonas.
Problem: A European multinational food-products corporation with unique health-focused portfolio in food and beverages faced the problem of removal of specific micro-contaminants for process water while adhering to international standards of DBP and Bromate formation control. We conducted a lab study for proof of concept of micro-contaminant removal at ozone dosage of 1.0-5.0 ppm in pure water, followed by pilot plant at site with precise contaminant measurement in actual process water. This was further followed by full-scale ozone at pre-treatment with precise and calibrated dosing rates.
Solution: A government spine institute faced the issue to reduce time between operations by improving the existing disinfection strategy. We provided full-scale testing with Air-Ozonation with third party swap tests for proof of concept at ozone residuals of 100-300 ppb and sterilization times varying from 30-45 minutes. This was followed by fully automated Ozone dosing and sensor-based controllers to adhere to international safety norms.
Problem: An India-based global pharmaceutical major faced the problem of water contamination post UV-destruction, despite the seemingly high ozone dosage from previously installed ozone system by another contractor.
Solution: Our solution was Node by Node testing which showed low ozone residual at tank outlet despite high ozone generator rated production (>10 ppm). The pathogen absence at tank outlet seemed counterintuitive, but the pathogen presence post UV-destruction provided some answers. A new ozone generator (5ppm) was installed with improved mixing strategy which allowed the client to re-start plant operations in the quickest possible time.
