Ozonia Membrel
Our Ozonia Membrel offer a consistent, cost-effective solution for continuous or discrete disinfection of cold storage and distribution systems for ultrapure water (systemic protection). The key advantage of this mechanism is that it is a straightforward and simple process of water electrolysis, that is the ozone is generated directly from the water. Ours is a design that allows reliable and fully automatic operations along with low maintenance. The applications it serves span across – PW (Purified water), HPW (High purified water), and WFI (Water for injection).
Advantages of Electrolytic ozone generators include:
- Zero contamination of loop [ ions/hydrocarbons/NOx]
- Lowest maintenance cost compared to all alternate sterilization technologies
- Return on Investment [ROI] of less than 1 year
- Continuous production reducing sanitization cycle frequency which reduces system down time by up to 95%
- Continuous ozonation ensures water quality protection at all times

Problem: One of the top 25 analytical and life sciences instrumentation companies in the world required 24×7 ozone availability for their central production unit.
Solution: Otsil was the chosen partner as the Electrolyic Ozone System came with backup display, emergency power backup, modular design, 7 intelligent sensors to ensure lowest MTBF precise dosing rates were determined based on Otsil’s proprietary modelling taking into account loop size, loop length, water temperature and purified water tank capacity. Client was able to go with a single modular system instead of working and standby system, thus reducing capex while increasing reliability. Final Ozone residuals were within 10% of model results achieving USP guidelines of PW sanitation.
Problem: Multiple water loops with single control system for a regional leader in generic medicines
Solution: Otsil’s Electrolytic Ozone Generator was the product of choice as it is the only system with master-slave combination that allow a single ozone power supple untit to control and monitor multiple pure water loops from the same user point. Client was able to go with a single master-slave system instead of multiple ozone units, hence reducing capex and allowing ease of operation and monitoring.
